The Martian sets box offices ablaze after earning an opening $55 million

The Martian starring Matt Damon opened up this weekend on Oct. 2nd,  and has already brought in a whopping 55 million dollars. The movie is a sci-fi thriller which details the struggles that one astronaut faces when he is left and presumed dead on Mars.
